The Development & Special Projects Assistant works closely with the Director of Development & External Relations and will be responsible for assisting with communications, research, and event logistics relating to development/fundraising activities. These include individual giving and membership programs, CAC’s annual benefit, “Work in Progress,” as well as for other special projects which include private art commissions, and special exhibitions. Through this position, the Development & Special Projects Assistant will gain experience in fundraising, development-related communications, event-planning, facilitation, and assessment, as well as project management.
This is an unpaid internship for a non-profit arts organization. College credit can be arranged for undergraduate or graduate students. This position is for 10-15 hours per week (including some nights and weekends for events). Some hours may be fulfilled partially off-site.
